Q: episiotomy question

when you ladies were in labor, did you feel the episiotomy cut when it was happening? Did you feel the stitches? I'm scared I might need a episiotomy.

i felt the needle they gave me to numb me before the episiotomy, and same with the stitches...for 1 delivery i felt the needle before the stitches, and for the next delivery i only needed a couple so the dr didnt bother with the numbing needle, and i felt the stitches, but it wasnt as bad as it sounds. comapred to the labor pain, it wont feel like much more then a pinch.
