Q: Membrane Sweep 36 weeks

Due to personal reasons, my doctors has decided to do a membrane sweep at my 36 weeks appointment. I have to admit that I am excited to possibly get this pregnancy over with as I am exhausted and in pain. Please do not comment saying its not safe or I should wait. Again me and my doctor decided that it is best so it is happening. I just want to know has anyone had it done and was it successful this early. Had one with my daughter at 38 weeks and she came 5 hours later? Anyone have any success at 36 weeks? Thank you for your responses in advance!

I did not get swept personally (wish I had some movement that early!) but my sister did and gave birth with her 1st 3 days after the sweep :-) Good luck and expect to have the same quick result as your daughter!
