Q: Worried about repeat scan

So I had my anatomy scan and my baby was head down with his back facing us. All of his measurements came back ahead. I go back in 4 weeks because the doctor couldnt do his face and to do a cervical check. The doctor aaid my baby was healthy. But should I be concerned about something they arent telling me? It did seem like they were having difficulty getting some measurements.

I wouldn't worry. I had to go back 3 times for each of my previous two kids before they got the images of the face/profile and great heart vessels they needed. Both kids were in the same position. If they want you to come back it isn't becuase they are worried they saw something wrong, it is just becuase they like to have a good look at everything and a lot of the time baby isn't in the right position to see things well. It is actually a good thing, you get to see your little one again! :)

It's pretty normal to have to go for a repeat scan. I had to do that with my first daughter but with her they couldn't get a good look at her heart or her spine and they were worried about her heart. If they didn't tell you anything to be concerned about I really wouldn't worry too much about it.
