Q: Are my HcG levels ok???

I have a history of miscarriage. I found out i was pregnant over the weekend, so I called monday (8-8)and they drew an hcg level, which was 50. i started progesterone on tuesday night, today i had another draw (8-10) which was 155. the nurse said its good that they are more than doubling, but im concerned that they seem low. I should be about 4 weeks along. anyone else have numbers like these at about 4 weeks....

That sounds normal, because if you are 4 weeks pregnant that means conception happened 2 weeks ago which is super early. As long as your hcg is doubling that is a good sign. Below is a timeline of the hcg levels and you seem to be where you should be. :)

Guideline to hCG levels during pregnancy:
hCG levels in weeks from LMP (gestational age)* :

3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
