I had issues with my oldest. I was a teenager (16) with an immature body, a smoker, and refused to wear maternity until I could no longer button my normal jeans without pain. These things caused me to dialate to 3 cm when I was 18 wks and stay there I went into the labor at 42 wks. I was on bedrest and didn't do well at listening. I was out 3 times a week with my bestie, going to thrift stores with my mother 5 days a week, etc. I took it easy and sat every chance I could and was laying down whenever I was home. Only thing I can say is take it easy and everything should be fine!

I was 23 weeks 3 days when they noticed my cervix was extremely thin at one of my appointments. I was rushed in for an emergency cerclage. The cerclage is where they put stitches in the cervix to help keep it closed. I would talk to your doctor about it right away though because past 24 weeks they cant do cerclages anymore as its too big a risk. I am now 25 weeks 3 days and on bed rest at home. Bed rest definetly sucks but ill do anything to keep this little man safe. Good luck though! I hope everything goes wonderful for you and you have a healthy little baby!
