Q: Is this a normal result for the clear blue digital with conception indicator?

I am now even more confused thanks to clear blue digital with the conception thingie.

So this is what it says on the box
result 1-2 weeks= 3-4 weeks past lmp
result 2-3 weeks= 4-5 weeks past lmp
result 3+=5+ weeks past lmp

So I did 3 weeks past lmp got the 1-2 result. Did it right at the beginning of my 4th week same result. Seemed like it was going with the box directions.

Used it just now at 7:45 pm to see if my levels are indeed increasing normally. I am 5 weeks tomorrow. I got the result 3+ weeks.
WTF happened to the 2-3 week. Is that normal? I completely skipped a week according to it. Yay for the increase but how can I go 1-2 to 3+ in ONE weeks? I'm seriously starting to think twins. Never been so happy for an early ultrasound

HCG levels increase dramatically and inconsistantly in early pregnancy. I am surprised that they even sell those tests because it really is a result that should be interpretted together with your care provider. Many women have huge jumps in HCG early in pregnancy, while others have difficulty getting a positive pregnancy test until 5 weeks or later....both are perfectly normal.

I took my generic-brand pregnancy test one day after I missed my period, and it was an instant solid two blue lines.

I am having twins. lol! But yes, it is important to just remember to have fun with it no matter what, and good luck with your ultrasound! Let us know!

It might just be to do with the levels of Hcg in your urine and may also depend on the timing of you taking the tests. But the main thing to remember is....Congrats and you're going to be a mummy, get yourself to a doc or midwife and enjoy the next 9mths x
