My belly popped out fast and everyone thought I was further along at 20 weeks than I was. however, I feel that there have been several weeks where my belly hasn't changed size that much. I t hink we all have growth spurts at different times, and some women carry a lot further forward than others. If your doctor isn't making comments, then I wouldn't worry about any commoner making comments!

I love it when people say something to me about my belly...It gives me a reason to talk about the pregnancy..I say..Laugh it off. It is cute..pregnancy is full of bunches of weirdness, grossness, funny things..., and random conversations..Wait tell the first stranger goes for a rub-a-dub on the tum tum...I've had mixed feelings on this..it always depends on the mood of the day...sometimes I get a weird vibe from the person and dont trust them (like they will stab my tummy or something...?) Thats when I back away and say no touching...mama bear is out..:) If the comments bother you the same way belly rubs sometimes bother me...then find a silly way to tell people you are not comfortable. :) Mama bear is making her presence known and starting now.by teaching you your boundaries when it comes to your baby..It comes in handy as your little angel is growing up. Good Luck!

i am 18weeks and 4days and i have also a large bump but this is my 3rd. u will find people (especially women) will compare yours and everyones bump to how theres was. so sometimes i get people saying wow your big for 18weeks but others say, pregnant? thats nothing! you should have seen how big i was. etc etc. just be proud of your bump hun, your growing a lil miracle inside there and thats all that matters x

I am now almost 26 weeks and as I am also quite short, my tummy is starting to get rather big as well!
People have VERY little tact when it comes to these comments..
I am getting a bit scared of where I am going to end up if I am this big already (right after I get up it's not so bad but by the time I leave for work It already seems bigger!!)

I would ignore them though.. they either do not know, or tend to forget that ALL WOMEN and ALL BABIES are carried differently and that you CANNOT compare your bump to someone elses! As long as both you and baby are healthy.. who cares! :) All the best!
