Why are people on this forum being so bitchy lately??? I know we are all hormonal but really? A simple question was asked and "the member" is being attacked for asking it. Not very fair ladies!

My sister took 2 swigs of castor oil and baby was out the next day (one week early) and baby was over 8lb. Not everyone has pathetically small babies so don't listen to the last comment. If you are overdue its worth a try? I'm sure you're not playing "god", sometimes babies DO NOT arrive when they are supposed to and they do eventually have to be born ... hence why women are induced medically... IS THAT WRONG? no ! do what you want!!

Stop trying to play GOD..Ive gone a week over and had I not..my baby would've been under 5lbs(BY THE WAY..THE DOC TOLD ME MY BABY WAS GONNA BE 8-10 LBS) . In my OPINION!!! ITS PUSHING IT A LITTLE BIT FOR YOUR BABY TO BE UNDER 5LBS!!!!! ALL THESE BRATS LIKE YOURSELF KEPT TELLING ME TO TAKE CASTOR OIL..AND I TELL YOU WHAT...LETTING GOD DECIDE WAS A MUCH SMARTER IDEA THEN FORCING MY "NOT READY TO BE IN THE WORLD" BABY TO BE BORN BEFORE HE/SHE NEEDED TOO. SMART MOM MOVES BEGIN NOW..YOUR STARTING OF TO A GREAT START AREN'T YOU! YOU CHILL OUT ANT FOCUS ON THE IMPORTANT THINGS.

Castor Oil, I've known a few women who have done this and it all worked out just fine. My one friend did it because she was overdue and didnt want to be induced by the doctors. It did actually kick off her labor. Also I think the inductions used by doctors are terrible, I'd definitely try natural ways first. And Castor oil is actually good for you, and it's most commonly used for constipation outside of pregnancy. I just wouldn't over do it. I'm also not saying that it works for everyone, just from my experience it has helped friends of mine avoid pitocin inductions. Also there are prenatal acupuncturists (if you have any where your at) that can use certain points to help induce labor after 40 weeks. good luck.
