As a RDH I would advice you to wait til after the baby is born. In a dental office we usually require a note from your ob clearing you for any elective dental work... as for professional whiting products its more of a concern about the product being ingested. We refrain from whiting products while a patient is pregnant. Many whiting kits do not have warnings on them for pregnant people but I believe Colgate does. I would recommend a whiting toothpaste but avoid the has her whiting products sine they can harm your little one. Also there are natural ways to whiten your teeth for now. Strawberries act as a whitening agent and are perfectly safe for your baby! :-)
