I had heard of people have a cake made with the layer frosting the color of the sex, but you won't know until you cut into the cake. I have also seen people dye white cake the color of the sex (pink or blue) and then frost it with a neutral color to throw everyone off until the cake is cut.

I think we are going to have the family over and give them cup akes with ? Marks on them with Pink or blue icing inside. Then letting everyone bite in to get the surprise! I also thought about just filling one and not telling anyone and then that person gets an extra surprise!

One of my best friends had a party where her mother was the only one who knew the gender. Her mom had a cake made where it was decorated in pink blue and white and shen my friend and her husband cut into it they found out the gender by the color of the cake! I loved that. but I love your idea too! Congrats on your new edition!
