Q: Just for fun ~ Has anyone tried the wedding ring and string trick?

So I just curious as to has tried this "old wives tale" where you tie either a wedding band or a needle to a thread and place over your tummy and if it swings back and forth like a pendulum its a boy, circle its a girl. Well I've been trying it for about 3 days now (I will be 6 weeks on Saturday) and it keeps swinging around in a circle overtime my husband or I do it. It's starting to freak me out a bit lol. It was right with my first pregnancy it predicted a boy and guess what I had a son! Who else has done this and its been correct or what prediction have you got when you tried it!? I'm loving these fun predictors although I know you can't always believe them.:)

I did it.... it predicted girl and so did my ultrasound a few weeks later ... lol

Hey, i already knew i was having a boy but thought what the heck, and guess what, it swung like a pendulum. Roll on November x

I agree it is a lot of fun! I'm so anxious to find out mine says girl too so we will see! I can't find out until the beginning of November and this helps to pass the time since November is forever away..

my girlfriends and i did this a week or so ago. Everytime they did it on me it said a girl, i dont know what im having yet but im dying to know if it was correct. we did it on friend who has already had kids and it predicted 2 kids and the right genders! if nothing else it was heaps of fun sitting in the kitchen pretending it was a psychic moment !
