I think it's normal to be super-excited at first, and then you're kind of waiting for a bit and nothing is really changing, so it's a waiting game once again ... waiting for doctor's appointments, waiting to feel those first movements, waiting for morning sickness to be over if you're suffering ... and the excitement kind of fades. Also, your hormones keep switching up on you right now. But I'm certain that as you reach new and exciting milestones in your pregnancy, those same joyous feelings from your first days will be soon to return.

If it helps, i felt slightly like this, by around 8-10 wks i was really worried i wasn't ready, i kept thinking about how we might find it a struggle (my partner is forces and due to go away for 6 months not long after i have the baby), and other things like holidays and days out. But it does go away, and once you get to your first scan the excitement will really kick in as you finally have proof of this little person actually existing in you. Please don't worry, just be what you're feeling and all will come naturally. Ally x

I am too scared to get excited. I fear that I could jinx it or something, I know its crazy, and there is nothing I can do to prevent miscarriage, but I still get scared.
This is the main reason I don't like people asking me or talking to me about my pregnancy, Only my hubby and I's parents and close friends know, but I still don't want to talk about it for a whle.
I have not really felt the way your feeling at all, but I would believe it to be normal. I am sure all the excitement has sort of wore off, but with every ultrasound, purchasing of baby things, and your growing belly, you will get your excitement back.
