The reason you shouldnt change cat litter is due to cats being carriers of toxoplasmosis and the risk that can have for mother and baby. As far as I know bunnys arent carriers of this (since they do not hunt or eat raw meat), but it would be good to maybe ask your health care provider. Hope this helps :)

Cats carry a certain disease thats harmful hence why you shouldn't touch their litter tray. I'm happy to pick up my dogs business on a walk so I'm sure a bunny would be fine.....just those nasty cats you gotta avoid...lol !

I have read the same about cats, but I am forced to clean it although I am pregnant. My husband is gone during the week so I have to do it. I wear gloves and a mask and shower like right after. Its best to take precautions on anything you're not sure of.

You def can. Rabbit poop is the absolute cleanest poop around because all they eat is hay and other green vegetation. :) I learned when volunteering at the humans society that its soo clean you could even eat it.. not that I think anyone should its just thats how clean it is... lol.. heh. My doctor said that cats are the only carriers of this and I pick up dog pooh in my back yard (with a baggie of course or pooper scooper) but if I can pick up dog poo.. you should def be able to pick up the bunny poo! :)
