We're starting now (I'm almost 17 weeks). We're on a really tight budget so every week I check out ads and websites for sales (while already having in my mind what we'd like). I like what the other post said about buying something every week.

I have some stuff saved from my first two kids- shoes and a few outfits and toys. However my first purchase might be a breatpump a good one this time- last time I rented one from my hospital and it was extremely bulky and I don't want that again lol. But we will soon be stocking up on bottles, and diapers, and even formula for supplemental use in case needed. =) and clothes here and there after we find out what we are having.

Thankfully we don't have too much to buy since we bought most of it when we had our daughter. So prob. won't buy much at all until we find out the sex.

I started buying before I became pregnant lol We had already been trying to conceive so we started shopping around for the main things..crib..changing table..high chairs ect... I became pregnant within the 1st week of conceiving lol My husband had been told to wait on buying things because it would take a while,since it had been 7 yrs of not being pregnant...but I have 2 other kids & know my body....I don't think it matters when you start buying things..at this point I'm broke & need a baby shower.

My dh and I started last week. We bought a box of diapers. We plan on buying something weekly till the baby arrives. I'm 10 weeks :0)

Lol, the day i found out ( 4 weeks 3 days) I went out and bought 2 outfits . We have bought a few things like a blanket and nightgown. But we haven't done any of the big things yet

Well we haven't begun "buying" but we've been collecting hand me downs. We also plan to register at the end of this month (5 months). Good Luck
