Q: is cramping normal ?

Im 16 weeks and I have been having moderate to severe cramping like a period. Its not contractions. It just feels like Im about to get my period. Ive had it for about 2-3 weeks now. I didn't have this with my first baby. I was just wondering if anyone is experiencing this. There is no bleeding or anything, its just very uncomfortable and drinking and eating doesnt seem to help it.

Yeah i had cramping the whole time mid wives told me it was just stretching it felt just like period was on way i dont think there is a need to worry

I have done that once in awhile in other pregnancies, but not as early as 16 weeks? Have you tried switching positions so that the baby isnt resting more on one part than another...maybe if your sitting try to get up and move around lie on your side with a pillow between your legs if it persists I would call my OB/midwife
