Get a second opinion! They gave me an internal scan at 4 weeks and 3 days and another at 5 weeks and 2 days I seen the sack and yolk but not the baby yet, I'm going back at 7 weeks and 3 days to hear the heartbeat.

I think just my ovulation is coming late... my first baby was born one week late, always my pregnancy test came possitive day or two after missing a period ...probably my pregnancy now is in week 5 not 6 as counted that`s why they couldn see the baby yet. But we will see after 2 weeks

Just to add to my answer....i was only able to see baby/yolk/heartbeat because i had an "internal" ultrasound and a full bladder, its far too small to see it otherwise and even then it is down to the skill of the ultrasound technician.

My OB told me about 20 percent of women have spotting during pregnancy. It is completely normal unless accompanied by extreme cramping, and clotting. It's also perfectly normal to have not seen the baby just yet. It's probably still a little early. If they found a sac and it's in the right spot then you should be just fine.

yes it is completly normal not to be able to see the baby this early. its good that you saw the sac but your little bean is probally the size of a salt grain which is TINY. although spotting can be scary that could be completly normal as well. some women go there whole pregnancy with none, some have a "period" like phase. and some spott. everyone is different. take some deep breaths and do stuff to clear your mind!

All pregnancies are different- I was able to see this baby at 6w2d, but they said I was lucky...I wouldn't worry at all! You have the sac and it's where it should be, you're going to be fine :)
