Q: Brown discharge????

Hi ladies,

I know this may be TMI but for the last 3 days I have been experiencing brown discharge, not much but enough to go what the ***?

I am 13 weeks pregnant. Saw doctor yesterday and he said its quite normal and only be worried when I get dark red blood and heaps of it. I also saw my chiropractor and she said that our cervix and bowel are very close do if your constipated then this can happen. I have been super constipated!!!

Has anyone experienced this??

Yes I had the same thing around week 12...doc said its normal! Im 17 weeks now and baby is still doing great

its probably fine though, I read that it is common to have brown dc during pregnancy, but your dr is wrong about saying only be concerned if you get dark red blood and lots of it.
some people dont bleed at all with a mc, some bleed alot but some only have lil specs of blood varying from pale pink to bright red.
any change in anything you should always be concerned and don't worry about annoying the drs ( I have seen some people say they dont like to bother the drs but its better to be safe then sorry.
just keep an eye on it an make sure it doesn't increase in volume or become smelly etc.
