The doctor says he does not know why i am bleeding and my high risk doctor also does not know why i am bleeding. ultrasound is fine, i am fine, baby is fine . So why am i still spotting on and off bright red blood? MY doctor told me he does not want to see me unless the bleeding gets worse , So what i am looking for is anyone who can relate and maybe knows what could be causing this. I have been having this issue. Random question, do you have a yeast infection? My doctor told me that some times the irritation can cause some bleeding, or it could just be the baby kicking your placenta too hard, that it is slightly ripping. Not enough to worry but enough to cause some alarm.

Mine has stopped bleeding right now, and I am just before 22 weeks. I am hoping I don't have to call them again, because the nurse was in my opinion, a moron. She didn't know how far along 22 weeks was. She was like "Oh bleeding at 4 months is nothing, totally normal" I was like. 4 months is 16 weeks to idiot...

My daughter is 8 now but when I was 26 weeks I began "unexplained bleeding" which wasnt very much but eventually I had clots ( the most alarming was while in the tub I found a few) I went to the ER multiple times, had numerous ultrasounds and NST and still they were dumbfounded?!?!?! This continued until I was 29 weeks, going to the ER multiple times (sometimes 2x a week even) I had my 29 week check up and asked the doc to check me and she refused due to risk of infection...that night I had a bad backache but nothing else, I checked myself and knew right away I was dialiating - 20 minutes later I drove myself to the hospital at 3am to learn that I was 8cm dialiated!!!!! I was soooo pissed at the doctor that when my daughter was transfered to a NICU at Childrens Hospital following birth, I called the insurance company to find another hospital for her to go to when she was to leave the NICU since there was NO way my daughter would be put in that hospital or doctors care again.

CONTINUED...
She was my third and I knew something was off...the doc had the nerve to even tell me "some women bleed in pregnancy" I answered with "b*tch, this is my third kid and no I dont" We know our bodies, and when something is off (even if it is our first) Go with your gut and dont feel bad to ? or cause a scene if need be. Some docs are a little too lax now days....good luck and hope your peanut stays put
