Q: Maternity clothes

Hello ladies!
This is my first pregnancy and I'm a petite woman. I'm almost 9 weeks and hardly showing. When should I start buying maternity clothes?

I am not 100% sure, but there is one online place Spicy Lingerie. From there I got my bridal lingerie, I hope there should be some bridal dresses also. There is a good collection. I hope this information will useful to you. I hope you also need some bridal lingerie. I have attached my pix of my bridal lingerie. Have a look.

Oh and here is another trick to keep you in your regular clothes longer....use a hairbow to fasten your pants. Like a hair tie....loop one end around your button twice, then loop it through button hole and come back and loop around button again. It keeps your pants buttoned but gives you a give that you need! Yep I think outside the box! hahaha

I just started wearing maternity pants and I am 19wks 3days. I can still wear my jeans (they are low rise so under the bump) but work pants started getting tight. What I do is wear my regular work pants but unbutton them and roll them in. (where the button and zipper are) Just wear a longer top to cover it. I wouldn't go out a buy a lot of maternity clothes because honestly you won't wear them that long. I only have 4 more months so I am just buying the necessities and wardrobe staples like black slacks, khakis, and jeans. (total of maybe 5 pair of pants) Shirts I have bought maybe 4 maternity shirts but buy regular shirts that kinda have a flowing baby doll style because you can wear those after the baby is born because they are still in.....Ok done with my rambling now! You will be in them before you know it!! :)

I didn't have to until about 17-18 weeks and I am petite too.

Thank you guys ! I'm hoping to stay in my usual clothing till I do get any bigger. I've been looking at maternity clothes in stores and online and yes, they are expensive. I like a good sale on my clothing so hopefully when I cant fit any of my clothes there will be good deals on maternity clothes lol :P

Don't start until you have to! I found that I can still wear a majority of my old dresses and tops...they are expensive!

I would wait until you start showing or until your clothes are getting tight. Maternity clothes are expensive (especially brand new - you can get some deals shopping secondhand/consignment), so if there are good sales on, you could pick up some tees and jeans, etc. - stuff you know you need - early, but you don't want to have to buy twice if you buy early and end up bigger than you anticipated. I'm 20w and still fit into my normal clothes (I'm fairly tall), so I haven't bought anything yet and have just started to paying attention to ads and sales :)
