i've had gbs for all three of my babies. it's best to go in and get the antibiotics. that way you lower the risk of passing it on.

It's also worth nothing that in most non North American countries they do not routinely test for group b strep since you have a very small chance of pass it to your baby during labour. So if you are uncomfortable with the idea of getting antibiotics while you are in labour ( being hooked to an IV will prevent you from freely moving into different birthing positions) you can refuse it .....just putting it out there since I know not all women are aware of this

I got GBS with my first chilld my son as well. When you think your in labor you go to the hospital. You dont want to wait a long time. They will give you antibiotics while you are in labor and one bag after you have the baby.. Good luck =)
