Q: not really much of a question, but do you get really upset easily?

said to my mum today isnt my bump big, she said its just fat its not the baby :(, kind of pissed me off that, as I have had 3 kids 4 pregnancies already this is my 5th, and I was only a size 14 before hand which is slim for me with being tall :/, tell ya what she doesn't hold back my mum, sometimes I just want to slap her, even though she is my mum :/ feel like I need to go on a diet now. I am 14 weeks 3 days. some of the bumps on here are huge, I know its not the baby with being the size of a lemon, but its not cos I have ate too many pies :(

Baby bumps are beautiful and womanly, and not to be mistaken for fat. Fat accumulates all over the body, not concentrated in the belly!! It's completely different.

Id be mad too. So ur not being unreasonable. That was just an uncalled for dig, esp when ur preggo. Just so it makes u feel btr im just now 9 wks & cant wear most of my "fat pants" anymore. This is baby # 5 &6 (twins). But w/ # 4 it was the same. After things have been streatched that many times they just dont hold thibgs in like they used to. And everyone has bumps by 14 wks. Congrats & im sure u look like every other preggo momma out there in 2nd tri. U look pregnant & good 4 u!!

Your momma's being a meanie. I don't remember exactly, but I think when your baby is the size of a lemon, your uterus is the size of a small watermelon. So, if you add a small watermelon to what you already have inside of you, yea, your totally going to have a decent size bump by 14 weeks, whether you started out thick or not!! :)

Don't go on a diet! Just eat good, and keep active. You'll be fine, there is plenty of time to diet after you have the baby.
