Q: Looking for thank you gift ideas for family friends throwing baby shower

My childhood friend and her mom are throwing us a baby shower. They are opening their home to our friends and family and are planning the entire thing, down to the minute details. I really want to thank them for all of their work.

Any ideas on something thoughtful that would be appropriate?

I like this idea, thanks Klara! The only problem is, the girl who's throwing me the shower is the same one taking my newborn photos (she's a photographer) so I don't know how much a gift of her own work will mean to her. LOL.

I would go with flowers for now, and then a little while after you give birth get them a nice framed photo of you and your baby with a second thank-you card telling them how much the things you got at their shower helped out. I love giving photos as gifts, so my bias is showing (:
