Q: HCG doubling fast but progesterone dropping, why so?

LMP = 21 Aug 2012
Conception = 3 Sept 2012
First beta hCG on 15 Sept 2012 = 42 mIU/mL
Second beta hCG on 17 Sept 2012 = 97 mIU/mL
Third beta hCG on 21 Sept 2012 = 275 mIU/mL
Fourth beta hCG on 24 Sept 2012 = 905 mIU/mL
All three readings were taking at 11 am.
Progesterone on 17 Sept 2012 = 24.56 ng/mL
Progesterone on 21 Sept 2012 = 20.28 ng/mL
Progesterone on 24 Sept 2012 = 18 ng/mL
The drop in progesterone is worrying me a lot, but I have read that progesterone fluctuates, but will using Susten 200 mg twice a day as I am doing now will solve this and susten this pregnancy.
Does using Susten 200 mg causes Corpus Luteum to produce slightly less progesterone to maintain equilibrium and so that there is no excess progesterone caused due to Susten?

My progesterone did the exact same thing with almost the exact numbers at 5 1/2 weeks. I was put on progesterone suppositories which I continued until 11 weeks. I am now almost 19 weeks and my baby is perfect. I think you will be good-to-go with the progesterone supplements. You just need them until the placenta takes over which happens around the 12 week mark (sometimes earlier). Congrats on your pregnancy!

I had another test today for progesterone and found that the levels has bounced back to 23 ng/mL. I am relieved. So happy.
