Q: Pressure in Rectum in Early Pregnancy

Hi Ladies,

Has anyone had pressure in their rectum during early pregnancy, I don't have pain anywhere else (although my vagina did feel swollen yesterday) and I am not constipated its just constant pressure in my bum and it is so annoying, I am just over 5 weeks pregnant.

Thanks in advance xx

Hi,
I have had the same issue. I think with everything stretching down below its putting more pressure on the rectum. Plus with pregnancy everything moves a lot slower through your system. So you might not feel the need to go but it still might be still sitting there.

Interesting....as I have sort of the same issue. I always feel like I have to go...and it's from the mild cramping I am getting in all the ligaments down there. I'm only 4w1d but, my body definitely feels pregnant and I'm getting all those typical symptoms. I even woke up one night and went to the bathroom to push...feeling like I had to go....and nothing. So, I know what you're feeling for sure.

Congrats!! :)
