Q: Is it considered normal for the mom to be, to be involved in the planning of her baby shower?

In my circle of friends and fam, the general thinking is that baby showers shud be a surprise, but I really enjoy the whole planning side of things and wud love nothing better than to plan my own shower! How d I approach the subject? Or do I just leave them to I?

I understand. I would just find out who is planning on throwing your shower and let them know you would like to help out with some of the planning. Let them know what you want and let them do the hard stuff. This is a once in a life time event, so you should be involved if you want to and have fun. Just approach it in a fun, light manner and I am sure they would be happy to involve you.
