I'm hoping my BP was only high because of the oncoming migraine. I really, REALLY do not want pre-eclampsia, especially so early.

Q: High Blood Pressure and Migraine at 17 weeks/Pre-Eclampsia?
I went to my OB yesterday for a regular checkup. My doctor came in and told me my blood pressure is a little high for me, at 140/80. As she's explaining it all to me, I start getting the "auras" in my vision that signal a migraine coming on. I told her I was getting one and she said the two are probably related. Anyway, now I have to do a 24 hour urine test to measure the protein in my urine. I go back next week to review my results and to get my blood pressure taken again. Has anyone had mildly high blood pressure so early and things turn out okay?I'm hoping my BP was only high because of the oncoming migraine. I really, REALLY do not want pre-eclampsia, especially so early.
