Q: Pinkish Discharge after bowel movement

Has anyone ever experience a pinkish discharge after a bowel movement. I'm currently 8 weeks along, as far as I know, and I have my first doctors appointment in 3 days.
I went to the bathroom last night, 1 and 2, (sorry tmi) and when I wiped I had a pinkish discharge on the tp from my vaginal area. There is no cramping or anything and this morning I had some brownish discharge. I'm a little worried just because I had a missed m/c when I was 12 weeks pregnant and I don't want it to happen again. Please let me know. Thanks.

A lot of the sites/books that list pregnancy by the week say that around the 7-8 week mark it's not uncommon to have some spotting (I checked since I had some too!). A lot of changes are going on right around then including the baby starting to rely on the umbilical cord and they say it burrows in a lil more b/c of the changes. I had a good lil bit of spotting around week 6 and then lil spots again around wk. 8. I'm now 9 wks and 3 days and it's stopped. I had an u/s at exactly 9 wks and everything was great! So, my bet/hope is that it's just normal! Best of luck to you!!
