First labor was 9 hours long. I went from 6cm to 10 and fully effaced in an hour and 20 min. No drugs. Had back labor for about 3 hours but it wasn't as bad as I had thought. They put me in a jacuzzi.About 15 minutes later he was out.
Second labor lasted about 2 1/2 hours. I almost had him at home if it weren't for two friends pushing me to go to the hospital. We were at the hospital for 20 minutes. Again, too fast for meds but didn't really need them. Contractions felt like cramps. The dr did break my water about 5 minutes before my second was born, and I think that is why it went so fast. I was NOT too happy about that. Letting your body go as natural as you can, and moving your body as your body sees fit.

With my first baby I was in labor 11-12 hours total and it was a natural birth. My second baby I was in labor for only 4 hours and had an surprise natural birth at home. With my third baby I had a c-section cause he was breech. My fourth baby I was in labor for 12-13 hours and had a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section). This time I have no idea how long I will be in labor once my baby decides to be born. I hope not real long. I hope you have a safe delivery!

My labour started spontaniously at 40+4 days after I bounced on my ball all morning and stimulated my nipples for half an hour then my water broke, it lasted 11 hours and it was my first :) things moved very quickly for me! xx

With my first pregnancy I woke up at 4.30 am with mild contractions and then I noticed in the toilet that my mucus plug is coming out . The contractions was in every 15 min . , then around 10:00 am in the morning the contractions started to be really really painful and we rushed to the hospital .. They checked me and I went into the pool ( as I had water birth). Then the contractions was really strong and coming in every 3 min . My only pain relief was the gas ( entonox ) .At 5:45 pm they broke my water artificially and finally at 7:04 pm ...I had my liittle baby boy . I wasnt induced and everything was all natural. ...Now Im waiting to see how long will be my labor with my second baby :) Good luck!
