Q: Should I worry about my relationship while pregnant ?

ok so i wanna make this short and sweet my childrens father and i have had some major ups and downs, most of the time its always arguments and I feel like this is gonna cause me too much stress while Im pregnant and Im only 4 weeks and the risks of miscarriage is way too high at this point. Should I not worry about him and the relationship at all and do all I can to have a healthy pregnancy or try to work things out and risk another argument ? What I wanna know is should I worry about my relationship while I am pregnant?

You might be surprised at his take on the pregnancy. He might just "get it" and become more supportive now because you are carrying his baby and realize how petty arguing is. I was honestly shocked and in disbelief at how supportive and caring my husband became when I became pregnant. It just clicked for him, maybe it will for your husband too.
If you guys do end up getting in an argument, remind him you cannot allow yourself to be upset and would like to discuss the problem at a later time when you feel more calm. Right now it's all about your baby and his/her health, but your relationship is still very important. Don't completely neglect him, because that will make things worse, but definately don't let him upset you or ruin this beautiful time in your life. You will never be pregnant with this baby again, this is a once in a lifetime experience, so enjoy it to the fullest!

I believe you need to work on communication with your partner. I think you need to both put more time in talkinq, instead of letting your fustration out in a negative way. If you two talk out your differences, then there is no room for fightinq. You need to do what is best fro you & your child. I don't think you need to give up completely on your relationship. Why should there be a gap?! Pregnancy should be the highlight of a woman's life. The point where she is happiest the most.

If you believe that you can make it work then maybe try to tell him that you just dont need the stress right now of arguments. You both sound very strong willed so maybe you could just back off a little and not let things that he says get to you, just ignore. Go out and meet with others that you can vent to and enjoy time by yourselves.
