Q: How long did it take you to get pregnant?

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I'm already thinking about when I will have my next baby lol. Anyways I'm asking because my fiance and I have been together for 3 years. The first year I was on birth control, then i stopped taking it - but we never tried to get pregnant we just had sex. It took me about 6 months to get pregnant and sadly it ended in and early miscarriage. Then i moved an hour away (long story) so we only seen each other a few times a month and weren't having much sex. This time it took us one month to get pregnant and here I am! I was only concerned because it seems like the first time I got pregnant it took us awhile it felt like... (6 months) and I was wondering if that's normal or not? How long did it take you with first and / or second pregnancies?

Hey. I'll tell you my situation. For the first time, we became pregnant after sex once during the first TTC cycle. However, we lost this child in 7 weeks. :(

It was in August, my cycle did not return to normal until October. We gave a half-hearted attempt at this cycle, but in fact did not hit the window. We tried again in November on my second normal cycle after MS, and now we are pregnant again and tomorrow we will be 5 weeks old.

We started planning a pregnancy in January. We went to the preliminary control with our doctor. They then conducted blood screening and tests for me to make sure everything was fine (without anemia or negative response). Then I cleared the rough edges of my eating habits, my husband cut caffeine and even his beer on the weekend. I changed my exercise program to be friendly to pregnancy (I could easily leave without any significant changes), and I started taking prenatal vitamins that were biased - breastfeeding in May. We became pregnant in June.

It took us 3 months...except it was more like 2 months because the hubs was gone hunting the first month after I had my IUD removed. The first month didn't work because I assumed my cycle was 28 days, but infact it was 36 days (used ovulation test strips the second month).

It took us 2-3 months. It was quick for us. I thought it would take longer because I have Polycystic Ovaries. We got lucky I think.

It took me six months with my first and that's mainly because I kept forgetting to take my birth control pill. This time it took us 5 months of trying.

It makes a big difference if you time sex during ovulation. We tried for two years just having sex and then decided to try charting and got pregnant the first month, it ended in mc, so we tried again and go pregnant in two months

This is my first baby and it took us 6 months to get pregnant. We were tracking ovulation and having sex very frequently around/during my ovulation. On average it takes a healthy couple 5-6 months to get pregnant but it can take up to a year and still be considered normal so you are very normal.
