Q: Beta rising slowly

Our ivf 3 day transfer of 4 embryos was on 4/19 and we learned we were pregnant on 5/3!!! :) very happy but the worst comes after that..beta levels!!!
Original beta 5/3 65
5/6 150
5/8 310
5/10 420
5/13 512
5/15. 512
5/17. 630
I don't have to tell you how my doc reacted to my slow rising betas..just making me feel I would have a misscearage at any moment...numbers are showing something was not right..etc
On 5/15 I had an u/s and there was a sac..2 days later it grew nd when Iasked my doc if he would ignore beta would he say everythibg was normal based on u/s he said YES BUT we always look at both u/s and beta...Anyway, he told me to go to ER if any pain like indication for who knows how many times that I will loose it..Going crazy with all others experience with everyting being ok even though beta didn't grow by the book. Any thoughts?

I didn't do ivf, I am natrual, but my beta is rising slowly too. I had to go to er Thursday night for some bleeding (everything was alright) but my beta came out low apparently. Its been low since I first found out. But they have me doing another beta today. I'm all sorts of nervous. Good luck to you and I hope you betas jump quite a bit.

Maybe you were carrying more than one and they didn't make it, which could be why your numbers were not rising. It's called vanishing twin syndrome. Good luck

When I had my beta levels checked at 5wks 6 days they were 44,000 and 7 weeks 121,000 so I excitedly said to the doc that's good it shows pregnancy is going well....
His response....
All it shows is at time of blood test u were v preg.... The blood test don't really mean much unless they go down... So enjoy xx
