Q: Breastfeeding-does my diet affect baby's tummy?

Hi, was wondering whether my diet will affect the baby's tummy? Pediatrician believes baby may be lactose intolerant, (e.g. can I drink milk?). She had diarrhea before and is on mixed feedings of formula & breast milk. Is there a minimum I should breastfeed?

Yes, your diet does affect baby's tummy. My son is allergic to milk so I can't have anything that has milk/dairy in it! My son has diarrhea, cramping and a rash if I eat dairy. I went completely dairy free and his rash, cramping and diarrhea is gone!
