Q: has any one else had fluid in the uterus causing spotting and how has it affected your pregnancy?

so I have been spotting for two weeks and was told at a 6wk scan that they could see fluid in my uterus- just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if it has resolved itself?

well had an emergency dash to the hospital last night with heavy bleeding turned out it was built up blood around the sac, on the scan they did they said there was not much left so hopefully it doesn't build up again - it scared me tho, all the blood as it was red this time!

I started bleeding at 4 weeks and it hasn't stopped yet. I'm now 9 weeks. They told me to take it easy. No running, lifting and stay on pelvic rest for now. My high school reunion is next week and they don't wont me to fly either. Drs just don't know too much about it. They say they think it happens during implantation. Like it didn't implant properly. Who knows! Most women have gone on to have h&h pregnancies.

If the doctor didn't seem concerned about it, I would say that things are probably okay! :) Hard not to worry, but I am sure if they felt there was a need for concern, they would have talked with you about it.

I had blood pooling at my cervix at 6 weeks. Nothing became of it; didn't spot and it was gone a week later. I'm now 14+2.

Have they said whether or not it is a sub-chorionic hematoma? I had one of those early in my pregnancy and my doctor said it could cause some spotting, but could also just reabsorb into my system. It's a pocket full of blood, though. Don't know if that is the same thing that you have, as I think the hematoma only causes bleeding for a few days. As of the last ultrasound, it seems that mine has reabsorbed. I will be 15 weeks along on Wednesday. Did they give you any other information about what they saw or what it could be?
