Q: What do I do with the weight now?
Pre pregnancy weight was 133. Found out I was having twins at 8 week u/s!! Sadly, at the 13 week NT scan, one of the babies showed no hb. According to the multiples book I was reading, I should have consumed 2500cals/day and to reduce the risk of preterm labor I should be +24lbs by 24weeks. I was on track to meeting those requirements! However, with the recent discovery that now i'll be having a singleton, I'm 4lbs over what I should be at 14 weeks. My question is, can I try to lose the weight? Or should I just try to stick to this weight until 18 weeks (which is what i'm weighing at now)? Which I think would just be the same thing technically right? Now that i'm not high risk, I can do more activity like a normal pregnancy. Just wanted to know what everyone's thoughts were. Thanks in advance!!This question was asked Sep. 11, 2013 1:17pm
