Mine was 52 at 4w 2d (I'm now 23w)- but it doubled accordingly , as long as your number is doubling in the time frame and withing the ranges I don't think you have anything to worry about!

I agree. Doubling time is what matters. I've read several questions or journal entries on here lately from women who are scared to death because a doctor said their levels were low. Mine was only 308 or so at 4 weeks and im now almost 28 weeks and everything is fine. And high levels don't always mean everything ok either. My last miscarriage had very high hcg levels and i lost it anyway. A couple women im following have had levels much lower than mine and they are in their 3rd trimesters now, like me. There is a very wide range of normal when it comes to hcg levels. Don't worry until you have to. See what your doubling times are first.

No and honestly your doctor doesn't sound like someone if want treating me. I was 160 at 4w 2days and my RE was ecstatic because my doubling time, which is what matters, was around 35 hours. The level itself can vary widely and he shouldn't have said that.
