Q: Can low hcg levels and bleeding still be a viable pregnancy?

I had bleeding for 4 days Thursday my hcg was only 35 so the Dr figured I was at the tail end of a miscarriage. Monday I went in and my hcg was at 155. I still have bloat in my abdomen. And still dark brown cm when I wipe and occasionally on my liner. I just don't know what to think. Any thoughts? I go to see my Dr Monday.

Tell them you don't want a D&C and if your going to miscarry you would like to do so naturally. I have read way too many misdiagnosed miscarriage stories about doctors pressuring woman into d&c's. I think if my doctor told me I needed one myself I would say no and that if I am to miscarry I would like to do so naturally. I have heard more than a few times of woman making this choice and end up low and behold weeks later finding and having a viable pregnancy. But you never know.. thats just my opinion though. Trust your gut instinct. You know more than any doctor especially your own body.

I have the same problem. My doctor said I probably just have pregnancy tissue left over and need a d&c. I'm scared but part of me says it's a viable pregnancy. I just can't give up hope no matter what they throw at me. I hope you get good news. It'll give me hope

I dont know what my sister in laws HCg was but she had an ultrasound after having a massive bleed at 6 weeks and her sac was very low and told she would loose the baby then two days later she insisted on another one before they performed a D&C and the sac was much much higher bleeding stopped a few days later ad she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy at almost full term it can happen. Rising is good It doesnt matter how low the level starts its how fast it doubles it should go up by around 50-60% every 48 hours and yours looks as though it is dont loose hope :)

our dr said it is possible i had this problem during a pregnancy in 2010 I had slow raising hcg levels and was bleeding from 5 weeks, sadly at 11 weeks i did loose the baby but i have heard of women carrying the baby to term. theres a site called misdiagnosed miscarriage that tells a ton of stories about things like this.
Good luck

Your hcg should've been gone by Monday if you m/c. Bleeding could be subchronic hematoma (sch) and worse case scenario tubal pregnacy.I myself and some ladies here have had our bouts of sch very early on in our pregnancies. Hope you get a good news on Monday.
