Q: Any alternate food ideas for gender reveal? (not cupcakes)

We've decided to reveal the gender to our friends using cupcakes at a party. For the family, however, we're going to reveal the gender at Thanksgiving lunch. Any ideas of an appetizer-type food that could be "pink" or "blue"? I don't think we will want to wait until the end of the meal to announce!

You could stuff puff pastry with a cheese mixture of some sort that you've died blue or pink. Seal them up well so the cheese doesn't leak out and it will still be a surprise!

Maybe a dip of some sort??? Like use food coloring to change the color of ranch dip. Or you could do cocktail weenies or cheese or something with pink or blue toothpicks...
