Q: Last Beta doubling time slowed down considerably? Should I worry? Please take a look x

1st beta 4w+0d = 124 (Nov/3)
2nd beta 4w+4d =1056 (Nov/7) doubling time 31 hours
3rd beta 5w+0d = 4547 (Nov/10) doubling time 34 hours
4th beta 5w+3d = 12 510 (Nov/13) doubling time 47 hours
5th beta 6w+0d = 20 885 (Nov/17) doubling time 124 hours

Is the last beta that worries me ...doubling time 124 hours? I understand the doubling time slows down but 124 hours? What do you think? Is this normal?
Thanks xxx

That's an average but everyone is so different that after five weeks it is just anybody's guess. What is good is that it is rising. You're not too far off from an ultrasound-go de-stress with a pedicure and try to forget the numbers!!

@ Kelliers ...I know I should have stayed away from the lab *sigh*...but couldn't resist. Doc told me to stay away!
What do you mean "No doubling time slows as you approach six weeks"... I know is slows down to 60-90 hours or something. Mine is 124 ...:/ it didn't even double properly

Also your doctor told you to stay away for a good reason-you should not have stressed yourself out and done it anyway!

No doubling time slows as you approach six weeks. Why doctors even check it after five weeks is beyond me. It really doesn't matter anymore-what matters is seeing a healthy baby with a heartbeat on the ultrasound between six and seven weeks.

When I was about six weeks my beta slowed rate down but I still had a intuition that there were two everybody is different and in your case it might be normal for you try not to worry I hear ya when it comes to miss caring I know it's hard not to worry just wait your ultrasound will. Show all:)

@Amanda, I was doubling perfectly for twin pregnancy till the last beta - 31, 34, 47...and then boom 124 hours. Don't know what to think. Trying not to worry but will call the doc first thing in the morning
