Q: Maternity bras?!

My really expensive, quality bra recently broke (underwire). I am debating on whether or not I should just go ahead and shop for a good maternity bra that can grow with me in the upcoming months. Any suggestions on the best ones out there? I am very heavy chested (Double H cup), and it was hard enough to find a specialty shop that carries my "normal" size.

Madien Form is great!!! They have larger nursing sizes. My sister wore a G while she was nursing. My breast fluctuate a lot during pregnancy so I have been wearing sports bras. If you do get a nursing bra, get an entire size bigger so you can grow into it. :)

My bra size changed so much when I was pregnant I wouldn't have been able to fit the bras at mid pregnancy once my milk came in.

Have you tried getting fitted at Motherhood Maternity? I'm not sure if they will carry your size in store, but they may have it online. After you have someone size you, you can also look at Amazon. They have a large selection but I'm not sure about sizes. Also, if you can find a nursing/maternity bra with great support for large breasted women, please let me know! I have YET to find one that doesn't leave me sagging after a while! On a side note, I have learned this from experience and from other busty friends: it seems the larger you start out, the less the girls grow during pregnancy, so you may not grow as much as someone who is a smaller breast size. With my first pregnancy, I started out as a DD and went to a DDD, which wasn't that bad. I lost weight in between pregnancies, and my non-pregnant bra size went down to a C (it was awesome bc of my poor aching back). However, by the end of the first trimester with baby #2 they had already grown back to DDs! Good luck!
