Q: Can the baby get hurt if I am pushing b/c of constipation?

For three hours last night I was cramping so bad from constipation I thought I was going to have to go to the ER. I was sweating and about to black out and my blood pressure was def. going up and it just hurt so bad. Im so afraid all the pushing and stress hurt the baby or stopped the heartbeat.

I also think that if it's that bad, tell your doc.

I've never heard of the baby getting hurt from pooping, but if you are getting that constipated you should get with your doctor!
