Q: Naked Juices???

Does anyone know if naked juices are OK to drink when pregnant? I'm 7 weeks and questioning just about everything I eat or drink! I know some of them have a lot of vitamins or supplements added to them and I wasn't sure if it was OK to drink or not? Will it hurt the baby? Is it an overload of vitamins on top of the prenatals I take? Thanks for the help!

No worries. Those are good stuff. The only down side that I can think of is the dent they put in your pocket. I do splurge on those every now and then, but I put my juicer to work most of the time.

I hope you can, because I love me some Mighty Mango! The back of the bottle says it's "gently pasteurized" . . . I don't know what they mean but 'gently',because as far as I know pasteurization what it is. Pasteurization kills bacteria, so it should be fine. I've been drinking naked juices and other juices my whole pregnancy, but I always make sure the bottle states something about being pasteurized!

Im not sure what u mean by naked juice... I have never heard of it but I do know if its fresh squeezed they say to stay away from it (unless u squeeze it yourself) bc its unpasturized and could contain bacteria. As far as too much vitamins, I have heard about that but I think you would have to drink like a truck load in order for it to be dangerous. Just limit yourself to one or two containers/glasses a day and im sure it will be fine. When in doubt, you could always call and leave your doctor a voicemail, thats what I do. Im sure he/she would be happy to answer your question on the phone :)
