Oh so you are probably just fine... If you have been tracking this for so long and have two kids already that were conceived on your normal cycles. That is very interesting... You are doing something right.. Bd and let us know what happens!! Also Countdown to pregnancy is for people who want to have children but she obviously wanted to talk to people who were already pregnant... Did anyone ask if she was on that site also? Who is to say she didnt receive answers for the question over on ctp.. Interesting... Well IF your scans were all accurate for your last two pregnancies keep doing what you are doing because having two kids shows that you know what you are doing!

annbalatbat - the scientific reason for those symptoms is that the symptoms from the hormones in your regular cycle are similar to those of pregnancy. Both sets of symptoms are caused by hormones!
hopingfor3 - If you're ovulating on CD 12 of a 30 day cycle then you might want to discuss a possible luteal phase defect with your doctor. Defects causing you to have a very long luteal phase can affect fertility.

Since OCTOBER, I have been ovulating cycle day 12 on 30 day cycles. I know my body and I know what I'm talking about.

Unfortunately, opk do not confirm ovulation, just that you tried to ovulate. Even if you did ovulate when you think you did, it doesn't change the fact that the luteal phase can only be 16-17 days long. If you are 6-8 dpo then your period will arrive before March 1. It will arrive closer to the 23rd or 24th. If your period truly does arrive around the 1st, then you have just ovulated within the past 24-48 hrs.

I was using OPKs to track my Ovulation. I ovulate earlier in my cycles than most women.

I think if you join up to countdown to pregnancy it would be more worth while. You can track your ovulation on it and also talk to other ladies who are actively trying to concieve.
Also you can track your symptoms each month too, which is pretty useful.
To answer your first question I actually realised I was pregnant a within two weeks of conception, everything seemed different, I had one glass of wine on a night out felt drunk, not like me at all. Then the next morning all I could smell and think of was bacon my partner said there was no bacon and I was imagining it. I done a test following day and was positive. This was day after period was due.
Good luck :)
