I would call your pediatrician. I believe there is something he can prescribe. I know my ped is wary of giving a baby that young water bc it is a choking hazard, so I would def call & ask just to make sure!

You might want to change her formula to one that has less iron in it. How long has she been constipated for though and has she pooped regularly before? You might want to take her to the doctor to rule out bowel obstruction.

Hi I work for a health visiting team and the advice we give is to encourage small amount Of water inbetween feeds. Only 1-2oz and only until it starts working, you don't want your baby to mistake this water for a feed and stop taking formula. But having this water normally gets things moving, hope this helps. X

I have yet to have our baby, but I'm a vet nurse and the most important thing we do for constipation is increased water.. When bottle feeding baby animals we reduce the strength of the formula so maybe speak to a midwife or dr about wether you can do that to help?
