I packed at 30 weeks because of my many false labors and complications in general. After my stay in the hospital, I can say this is what you will need:

Comfy jammies that are long night shirts...night dresses (my husband calls them "granny jammies") because of getting checked a lot.....no pajama bottoms or fleece pants

Underwear

3 pairs of socks

Slippers

Toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, deodorant, etc.)

Blow dryer, brush, hair ties, etc. for your hair

Your own pillow

Robe (I brought two robes with me and used them both)

Makeup, face lotion, body lotion

Laptop, ipad, phone, camera, chargers

You'll pretty much know what else you will need to pack based on what your morning and night routine is for yourself. Just make sure you bring enough jammies and socks.... I ended up not bringing enough.

I had my son via emergency csection at 34 weeks and had nothing packed. You never know! It's not the end of the world if you don't have it packed though. You won't really need anything right away anyways.

I'm expecting our first and I'm 25 weeks. I've starting gathering items (travel sizes on toiletries, toothbrushes, etc.), but I haven't started packing just yet. I can't seem to find slippers while shopping. I usually don't wear them, so I want something lightweight that slides on, but I can't anything that isn't fuzzy and/or bulky.
