Q: Anyone familiar with down syndrome?

I am 11 weeks pregnant with twins. I went see a specialist yesterday and the doctor was concerned about the fluid behind Baby B's head/neck area. He said if the baby has over 3 mm of fluid they start to worry as something could be worng. Well Baby B has 3.8 mm. He said the baby could possibly have either a heart defect or down syndrome. He also said it could be nothing and resolve itself. They are going to do blood work next week and further testing after that. I'm wondering if anyone has gone through this and possibly what the outcome was?

Im sorry I dont know much about it. I just wanted to let you know I watched this pregnancy vlog on youtube for Alexis Chaquell P she went through the same thing recently and it resolved itself. Maybe you can check out her channel and see her experience with it?

One of my friends had a fluid measurement of 8mm and immediatly had cvs done everything came back completely normal.. And got the all clear for all posible trisomies. There may still be abnormalities but they won't know until bub is born.
