Q: Glucose tolerance test

Hello ladies :) so, I just did my 1 hour glucose tolerance test a few days ago. My OB nurse called today and told me my result was high (it was 212) and that I am going to have to go in and do a 3 hour glucose tolerance test. Anybody else have a number that high and still come out ok with the 3 hour test? What are your experiences? Thanks girls!!

Do not eat or drink before the 3 hour one. You get a more accurate test result if you only have their fluid stuff in you. My mom ate before her first draw and was high. Second test she was fine after going with no food. I went empty and had the technicians happy I fasted because drs dont give the right info. Thats what the tech told me.
