Q: Name idea for my baby boy.. what do you think?

Our newest idea is "Hanrich".
Keep in mind that we are south african and Afrikaans so dutch or German suits us well..

what do you think?
My friend once said one must remember that you are ultimately naming a man and not a boy.. which I think is quite true! :)

Thanks for the inputs!!! Hubby likes it too so I guess we have a name...
so strange .. picking a name influences your child's identity for life.. hard when you haven't yet met your son..

I think it is a great, strong sounding name! I always think of what the name will sound like when they're adults too. You want your child to be taken seriously when they grow up, so I think your friend gave great advice - and it goes for girls too. :)

Pronounced kind of like Henry? Hen-rick? Meaning name of several German kings.
