Q: Pregnancy Mood swings...and I'm a teacher :-(

I am 5 weeks 2 days ... just found out I was pregnant a few days ago. When I "assumed" but wasn't certain that i was pregnant, I was joyous and happy but now, I have been in the worst mood EVER!
I have tried playing my happy baby songs, resting, staying to myself, but I just can't seem to get out of this funk!
I can seem to pin point the core issue and everything seems to irritate me.
The worst part is I am run a full service preschool where I also teach in the morning hours. I feel fine physically , just little breast pains here and there but i'd rather have morning sickness than a bad attitude...for seemingly no reason.

Any advice for the Pregnancy blues?

I know how you feel...I'm at four weeks and one of my main symptoms has been mood swings. I've been so grumpy and its hard because I have a very active 4 year old only child . Hang in there , it should get better !

Congrats!! Yes, the first few weeks....usually between 5 and 10 weeks...are the worst emotionally. I was a BEOTCH during those weeks!! I was moody, exhausted, irritable...you name it. There's really nothing you can do but try to get through it as best you can. Just know it will pass, I promise!
