Q: Dull pain... Is it normal? Help/advice greatly appreciated!!! XxX

Hi everyone, I'm on pregnancy #2. My first was over 5years ago with out dd.

I think I am about 5-6 weeks pregnant and keep getting really dull, PMT like pains in my lower abdomen. Is this normal or should I be worried?
I don't remember this feeling with my first pregnancy, but I may not have noticed it, if it did happen, as I was suffering terrible back pain during the early weeks.

I'm really hoping some of you will be able too settle my mind as it is making me feel quite anxious! ð??? xxx

Thank you everyone, you have all been really helpful and as there's no bleeding related to the pain, you have also settled my mind!! Maybe psychological, but I haven't felt as much of the pain/cramping today ð???
Looking forward to our first scan, I should feel a little better afterwards!
Tanks again everyone XxxX

In the very beginning I got some mild period-like cramps that came and went. That kind of stopped mostly in between and am only just now starting to get some cramps here and there, but I think those could be BH.

Yep, pretty normal! Everything is stretching back out to accommodate your growing babe :) As long as there is no bleeding, then I wouldn't worry.
I spotted at 7w and then again at 7w4d. The Dr on call in the out patient department said that that was normal too.

Pretty normal. I've been having pains since the beginning and I'm now over 10 weeks and still getting pains. It was bad enough for me to go to the ER and I've had 4 scans now and there's nothing wrong that they've found to explain the pain.

I am now 11 weeks and am still having dull aching at times. During the first weeks it was worse than it is now, as long as you aren't in terrible pain and aren't bleeding I wouldn't be to concerned. If it get's worse and makes you worry go see a DR. I also still spot occasionally (brown not red) so it's old blood and shouldn't worry about that either!
