Q: Any Ideas? we are in desperate name of suggestions!

ok ladies, last year was a really tough time for us as we had two mc back to back and one of them due to a molar pregnancy. so when we found out that we were expecting this little angel and have made it to the "safe" zone as our obgyn says we cant seem to come up with the perfect name.

what we know:
we would like a name that is a little unique and obviously pretty but without it being a name that makes everyone think twice in a negative way when hearing/seeing it

she will more then likely have red hair and hazel eyes

we dont want any really old sounding names like ethel or margaret but classy original names are still an option

any ideas we could really use the help as we are determinded to have her name picked by the baby shower the middle of july since we are wanting to monogram some thinkgs!!!!!

Charlotte and Caroline have always been some of my favorite little girl names...they also work well as grown up girl names. :)
Good luck!

I agree! One of the criteria I used with naming my girls was, "could they be a judge, lawyer, doctor, etc?" with their name. I mean, some names are "cute," but would anyone take them serious with something "cutesy." One way to look at it: you're naming an adult, not a baby. IMO, you can never go wrong with old and classic. They're classic for a reason! But seriously, go online and look for Victorian era names, popular names from the 1800s, etc. You'll find what you're looking for! GL!

I love old, classic names. My hubby and I had trouble deciding on a girl name for our 2nd daughter, so I went online & pulled up the lusts of the most popular names from 150 yrs ago, 100 yrs ago, etc. That's how we decided on Vivian. :) Maybe that will help you! Here are some that were on my list: Josephine, Frances, Julia, Genevieve, Charlotte, Claire, and Abigail. Of course, what is old eventually becomes new again, and some of those are already coming back in popularity. My first name is Elizabeth & you can never go wrong with that one! ;)
